This site will feature Bible-based articles some days, silly posts and quotes at least twice a week and facts about Jack the Ripper-to begin with.

“Of the 456,877  people who lived in the East End, a quarter of a million had Whitechapel as their home, and at any one time 15,000 of it’s residents were classed as homeless.  Disease, hunger, neglect and even violence would claim the lives of one in four children before they reached the age of five.”

Quote taken from Jack The Ripper: The Casebook written by Richard Jones

This statistic is referring to life in the Whitechapel area in the year 1888, the same year that the Ripper murders occured.
