Jack The Ripper Fact-Fridays

Suspect Severin Klosowski, also known as George Chapman, moved from Poland to London and changed his name to one that was easier to remember and pronounce.
He worked as an assistant in a barber shop and rumor has it that he liked shaving people a little too much.
He beat his three wives and was convicted of poisoning them after the first died of similar illnesses. He was sentenced to death in 1901.
Former Cold Case detective Morris does not believe that Chapman was Jack the Ripper because it would be too much of a crossover to go from poisoning to mutilating women.
