East Hartford, Connecticut Representative, Tim Larson wants to change the date of Halloween to the last Saturday of the month. He says it would be easier on kids and parents because they would not be trying to fit in time for homework and parents would not have to try to rush home to cook dinner and get the kids out to trick-treat before it gets too late.

Halloween, in medieval times, was a festival, marking the end of the harvest and lasting for several days.
It’s probably a good thing the kids can’t trick-or-treat for several days in a row today. 🙂
