Before Brampton Stoker wrote Dracula, he went to Transylvania to do research on a prince, who lived in the 1400’s, named Vlad Dracul-Vlad the Impaler. He impaled his enemies and many innocent victims to drain their blood. Sound familiar? Except he did not do it by biting their necks. 🙂
